Small but totally worth it.Saw some really huge snakes.Saw both white tiger and yellow tiger roaming playing unlike seeing them sleeping in most of the zoos.Even the leopards were running around. Loved it.Slightly lesser birds in zoo.

Electric carts are available at same price ticket which needs to be purchased separately inside. 4 carts are available which can be crowded at times . Cart timings are from 10 to 5 pm . Cart ride takes 30-40 minutes . You can visit snake park located in zoo . It has different 🐍 snake species, turtles 🐢 tortoise and crocodile 🐊.Other enclosures houses deer 🦌, Sambhar ,nilgai , sloth 🐻 bear , Indian giant 🐿️ squirrel, wild 🐈 cat , leopard 😺 cat , peacock 🦚 , vultures, elephant 🐘 , lion 🦁, white tiger 🐯 and many more. There are washroom in zoo area . Parking available on street or at nearby parking lot . Snack stalls outside zoo . Nice place to visit.. Visiting early in the morning (9:30) is recommended as Animals prefer to be in sheds during afternoon time due to heat! You can carry food inside too.. You can find the toilets inside;however carry your own hand wash/paper soap.

Awesome small trip destination. But go early in the morning on these days so all animals can see near you. Whenever you go then ply go first to see Tiger and Lion then only visit the snake side. They arrange electric carts for roaming within the zoo. Timing for Zoo is 9.30 to 5.30.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting a vibrant and captivating zoo that left me in awe. Visited after almost many years and the place is far better and clean.Saw every other animal mentioned in map including lion,wolf,tiger and leopard. 🦁🐯🦊🦌🐯I visited during morning and almost all wild animal were seen playing later they went to rest during afternoon.Recommend Time to visit : During opening in morning around 10:30.Important points : Only cash is accepted at the ticket counter. Good place to take your kids to. Earlier it was just a snake park but now they have expanded it to include much more animals. On one side they have a section of all reptile and aquatic animals and on the other side the land animals. They have most of the animals which kids can experience by seeing in real life.The zoo also has a facility of e cars to ferry around. 1 to 2 pm is lunch time.and ticket selling for these cars start at 2 pm. Unsure if they operate in the first half too as we reached the zoo at 12: 15 pm . There are many eateries outside the zoo. People form queues for tickets to these e cars early..so please look out. They have almost 6 e cars and once gone..u will find others only after 40 - 45 mins.Please keep some snacks for kids to eat inside the zoo as it will take time to cover.Overall a good place for a day outing and for kids to see the real animals outside books and screens.

This place is very nice to visit with your family we had a nice experience, the charges per person is Rs 40 and Rs 10 for kids ... The problem is they don't have parking facility, we had to park our car in the close by private parking for Rs. 50/- but the parking space is congested. Inside park they have their own electric bus for the tour ... As the place is covered in large area , it's difficult for children and elderly people to cover it by walking so we booked the bus... The charges for the bus is again Rs 40/- per head , which I think is too much for just 45 minutes to 1 hour tour .,.. The place has tiger , white tiger, Lion , Different species of fox... Elephant different species of snake and many more , the place is no doubt enjoyable... Food and plastic bottles are not allowed inside which I think is fine .... It's closed on Wednesday so plan accordingly....

Nice place where children can see the animals which they have never seen in real. Please carry cash as they didn't had google pay option when i visited also they have car to travel inside which cost 40₹ per person, this ticket counter also needed cash or else you have to walk to much. If you carry water bottle you have to give deposit of ₹10 per bottle which you will get back when you show the bottles while going Out. Please try to come early else you will not get the parking in parking station.

I have visited this place on Saturday at 10.30 AM, fortunately there was no rush at all at the ticket counter. I would suggest to go early in the morning to avoid queue for tickets. Parking is besides the bus stop which is prior to the zoo park. The ticket is just 40 rs for adults. You get so many animals and snakes to see inside this zoo at such a low cost. If you see the entire zoo by walking then it takes around 2hrs to cover, but there are benches placed where you can take a rest. If you are young then I would suggest to go by walking so you get enough time to see the animals as per your ease. Overall a very nice place to visit with your kids.

It was a great experience. Got to see many wild animals in real. Very good place especially for the kids, every parent must their kids to this amazing place. Seeing tiger in real was just an mesmerizing moment for me. E bus service is also available or else you can simply walk and explore the place.

Diverse Wildlife can be seen here and the park is quite big so bringing friends and families along with kids is ideal as well. The navigation inside the parks can be improved as it is a big park so directions at every corner can be helpful as most of the park is under construction/renovation.

The park is constantly being upgraded. But right now the park is very well managed. It is a long journey from snake park to elephants. They have started electric vehicles for public convenience. You have to take a ticket first. I suggest taking a ticket as soon as you enter the park

Hello friends, during my recent visit to Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park, I had a wonderful experience. First, I bought the tickets, which cost Rs.30/person. Upon entering the park, I noticed that it was filled with lush greenery. My first stop was the snake enclosure, where I observed various types of snakes such as Naag, Dhamin, Cobra's, and more. All these snakes were safely placed inside glass boxes, allowing visitors to have a close look at them while being protected.Afterward, I proceeded to explore the diverse range of animals and birds in the park. Although the number of birds was relatively low, there was a wide variety of animals. I had the opportunity to observe tigers, elephants, foxes, and many more animals up close. The entire visit lasted approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.For convenient mobility within the park, cars are available for transportation. Overall, my experience at Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park was incredibly amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have an enjoyable time. And it takes approx 40-50 minutes to complete the visit. Plastics are not allowed inside. Nice place for childrens, you can spend 3-4 hours there. You can keep your own snacks with you, and keep water bottle. Drinking water and toilets are there in every zone. Don't carry heavy baggage as you have to walk around all over zoo. Electric van is there but walking through will be good option.

Great place to spend Sundays! This actual zoo offers a variety of animals to watch. Children would love it, as they can see lots of wild animals roaming freely in their cage areas. The animals have plenty of space to stay happily. The ticket cost for adults is ₹40, and there is an option to book tickets online on their website, eliminating the need to stand in a queue for purchasing tickets.

Very nice park.many types of animals are there like Tiger,Lion,Deer,Fox,Cow,various types of Deer,Cheetah,Elephant,white tiger,Blach bugh,Bear and in rainy season bamboo trees and there leaves and greenery is awesome.toilet urinary are ok.we go to walk some distance but there is availability of park vehicles.Drinking water is also available in some distance. Tickets are easily available. overall experience is awesome.😎👍

It's well maintained zoo, they have a Bengal tiger, a white tiger, an elephant, a jackals blackbuck, and various animals.good visit with kids..if you want cart drive then have to tickets at the entry.

Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park is a great spot for children, families and animal lovers. With a variety of animals, the zoo is well-maintained and spacious. The snake park is especially interesting. While more seating areas would be nice, it’s a fun and educational place for a day out. Just expect crowds on weekends!

It’s very green and scenic but the number of animals is very few. What I really like about this place is that they have not caged any animal and have tried to keep them close to their natural habitatThey have separate section for snakes and other reptiles.The park has small lake but boating wasn't available at that time.I would suggest to carry your snacks and water along.Toilet facilitie's not so good.This place becomes highly crowded over the weekends.I would suggest to visit this place on week days. One can spend around 2-3 hours in the premises. Entry ticket isn't costly. Overall a nice place.

The day we visited was republic day so the crowd was much more than usual, besides that it is just nice strolling around here, looking at animals and relaxing for a bit.As the zoo is quite huge, you will surely need to walk a lot, so be prepared for it (estimated walk: min 5 km). If you cannot, there is availability of electric vehicle, which gives you a nice tour, but I really recommend you to buckle up and explore. You'll be amazed how awesome the tiger and the lion looks especially!Recommended if you're curious, not for you if you hate walking great 7.3/10

Good place to take kids for a half day trip. Make sure of booking tickets online from the PMC website. It's quite easy and you'll be able to avoid huge lines. Also the electric carts start at 10 am in the zoo and it's first come first serve so better book that immediately as the walk is quite long and summers it can be very exhausting. It's just 40 per person. Also the zoo has enough toilets and drinking water outlets but there are no eateries inside so make sure you eat something before going in.

A really nice place to come with friends, family or even a date. When it comes to zoos I always prefer to look at how the animals are treated rather than the experience as a visitor. I remember some turtles were kept in some pretty dirty tanks which was not nice to see. A lot of the other animals were kept in seemingly good conditions.As a visitor, it was definitely a good time. The zoo offers a look at a variety of different animals and offers a lot of knowledge on them all which was an interesting read. The highlights are definitely the big cats like the lion and tigers. Hearing a lion growl was one of the best real life experiences, you could feel it in your soul.Definitely visit this place on a weekday, it gets very full on weekends.I wish I could rate it a 4 but just because of some of the conditions of the tanks for the reptiles, I can't give it more than a three.

Great tourist attraction, right in the middle of the city. The reptile arena & Snake park is the best part of the zoo. Other animals like lion, tiger & elephants are kept in separate enclaves at some distance to each other. It was a wonderful experience.The entire zoo can be covered in 2 hours. Battery operated vehicles, driven by the zoo staff, are available for a nominal charge. Carry water in your own home bottles, there's an additional deposit if you have plastic disposables.The management has taken great efforts to maintain cleanliness & discipline.Great for children and family groups.

Visiting this zoo since 2013. Nothing has changed a bit here..They should bring some new animals or need to clean the lake at least. Ticket is getting expensive every year. Please bring back the elephant and bear/ panda..Remaining things are good. Please Visit this place in monsoon..

The enclosure of lion and tigers is very small, the enclosure of deer had no grass, and just dry leaves. 22 out of the 46animals mentioned in their map are “proposed animals”. There are very few boards inside the zoo. The area lacks greenery and had soo much polluted air due to the ongoing construction in the zoo. Snake park is good with many species and information boards. Overall 2/5, the ticket is too cheap (₹40 for adults) so it is value for money.

Still lot of renovation work going on.Tiger, Leopard and Lion are preserved here.Elephant also there at the end.Good collection of Snake exist at Snake Park.Best part is Drinking water and Toilet facilities available throughout the zoo. .

Good Park to visit on weekends. We can see lots of Animals including Lion and Tiger. You can spend a full day with family here. There was a long queue for tickets. They offer paid bus service for internal rides which should be bought at the ticket counter only. There was no canteen or hotel inside the park. They have paid parking available but it's getting very hard. You have to park a car in the opposite paid parking lot. Must visit this park once.

Online ticket system is available which reduces the waiting time. So look for the QR to book tickets online which is super easy. Talking about the zoo, it's a good one. Not so big not so small. The deer collection is good and the bengal tiger and white tiger are showstoppers. Other animals are of less quantity.

A lot of different animals are kept here like bangol tiger, white tiger, bear, wild cat. 🐅A lot of work is going on here which means that in future many more animals will be brought here and they are doing a lot of things to attract a lot of attention.🌴Many different species of plant are there for aim of biodiversity conservation .Water taps and washrooms are present at some interval of time and all are clean.Electric vehicles are available for the person who don't walk properly or old.

If you love animals then you must go to the zoo once with your family. The zoo is very big so go after having breakfast because inside you will only get the washroom and drinking water. To go inside, you will have to pay Rs 40 and a separate charge will have to be paid for taking photos with a photography camera. My traveling experience was very good. 🙂

One needs at least 2 hours to see the entire zoo. It is located near katraj.

The Zoo is great. We recommend that you first visit the main zoo and keep the snake park at last. Carry lots of fluids and food. The animals are great the sad part is the elephants were chained. Sharing a few photos.
